Junction Trails Park Newsletter: April, 2009

April, 2009

Many of you already have a Junction Trails Park Summary setting forth our vision for Milford’s public park. For those of you who do not, email me, Tammy Pschesang, and I will send you a Junction Trails Park Summary.

In our many contacts that have been made over the past 18 months, we feel confident Rory Robinson, Outdoor Recreational Planner for the National Park Service of the U.S. Department of the Interior, has given us the guidelines to make our park a reality. We, the Citizens for a Better Milford, have implemented one of those guidelines by incorporating as Junctions Trails Park, Inc., a non-profit corporation.

We are pulling together into a committed entity driven by a common cause, not to mention a legacy for generations and communities to follow. We are in the process of getting several Universities involved to engineer the archecture and graphics needed for funding, presentations, and authorizations.

Junction Trails Park, Inc. is also having its first “learn fest” or fundraiser. May 2nd, 5pm-9pm at American Legion in Old Milford. We are in hopes of informing more, getting started with our funds needed, “celebrating” our junction trails asset, and having fun!
